Hi, I’m Izac.I untangle things.
I’m a product designer in Melbourne. I take messy systems (customer data, airport ops, AI) and turn them into tools people actually want to use.
Serious about the work. Less so about myself.
Complexity,
made
clear.
Things I’ve shipped.
And what’s next.
Customer data, airport operations, AI.
Different problems, same job: make it make sense.

Lexer AI
A new AI product, design system and coded prototype environment.

Lexer Dashboard v2
Estimated dashboard build time: three days to four hours.

HKIA Digital Apron
More than 30 systems on one 30-metre operations display.

NMG Editor Dashboard
Reported 50% less time consolidating and analysing data.

Social Post Automator
Average creation time: 30 to 11 minutes in five user tests.
Happiest in
the messy middle.
Give me a product that does a hundred things and a user who needs three of them. Working out which three, and making them obvious, is my favourite part of the job.
I started out in motion and immersive work in Hong Kong, studied animation and games at RMIT, and now design B2B software in Melbourne. So I’m just as happy mapping a data model as I am prototyping in code or fussing over a hover state.
Find the real problem
What people ask for and what they need are often two different things.
Make the thinking tangible
Sketch, map and prototype until the idea can be argued with.
Build, learn, repeat
Ship the smallest real thing, watch it, make it better.
Room to play.
Where I came from, and what I make for fun.
Immersive training, motion and the odd experiment.

Learning by being there.

Ideas, set in motion.
